Edentity specialises in Personal Information Brokerage (PIB), which can be seen as one initiative in the field of user-centric identity (& personal information) management.  On occasion, we use the phrase 'Virtual Home', a trademark, to refer to an individual's brokerage account.

We develop business, technical and organisational models for PIB, and are particularly interested in applications that have the potential to straddle public and private sectors.

Our goal is to be a catalyst in the creation of  PIB infrastructure that will:

• enable individuals to interact with organisations, and other people, in a way that is more convenient, and offers enhanced protection of their  security and privacy; and
• help organisations move towards better ways of authenticating, and maintaining accurate information about,  their customers.
