In September 2001, Edentity won a SMART Award from the Department of Trade & Industry to help finance a feasiblity study of what we then called the Virtual Home (VH) concept. The work was carried out in collaboration with Drs. Jean Bacon and Ken Moody of the Computer Laboratory at the University of Cambridge, and confirmed - as anticipated - the technical feasiblity of VH. Although the amount of money was small, the SMART Award was our first external vote of confidence, and thus remains a significant step in Edentity's development. -------------------------------
